Samsung Galaxy M51 is all set to go on sale by September 18, 2020. Samsung has seriously adopted the points on producing value for money mid-range smartphones withs its M series in the mobile phone market. It has been able to keep itself occupied highly in the market now. There used to be a time when Samsung smartphones trended in every price range. But from last few years due to its competitors (Xiaomi, Asus, Realme, etc.), it was slowly losing the number one spot.
Samsung analysed the Indian market and launched its beloved M series for Millennials which were value for money and affordable for everyone. So, that series is all set to give out another breakthrough with their newest Samsung Galaxy M51(The Meanest Monster ever).
It is expected to beat almost everyone in its range of fight. This is because it has got almost all the boxes ticked in terms of performance, camera, display & battery, etc. Go ahead and read further to find out each and everything in detail about the smartphone and check if this one suits you or not!

Samsung Galaxy M51 Features
Display
Samsung is highly known for its wonderful, bright and great displays. The colours produced by phone are quite punchy bright, eye-catchy. Moreover, M51 bags the latest generation AMOLED panel due to which the thickness of the panel gets reduced and one can feel that when in hand. It supports HDR-10 with 60Hz refresh rate. The M51 comes with an Infinity O display on the front having very fewer bezels on the top as well as the bottom.
So, overall the most important word says that the best part is that it is really good that Samsung is going with the Infinity O display with most of its devices. Since the waterdrop notch has become a-bit old fashioned the O design gives a premium look and feel in the hand of the user.
Camera
Samsung has done wonders for the camera of Galaxy M51. They provided the main sensor with SONY IMX682, which is a flagship sensor form Sony. The second camera is 12MP ultrawide which is really wide for providing good camera angles. Moreover, the other 2 cameras are of 5MP(depth & macro) which are generally 2MP. So, a great feature there too. Front camera bags 32MP sensor, overall a great camera setup by Samsung.
KNOX Security in M Series
One of the most important thing which is much needed in a smartphone is security. Although the android platform is considered to be highly secure, as it is an open-source platform it misses out the topmost security promises by Google. So, for the added security purposes Samsung provides its own security feature which is KNOX security. It used to come only on flagship devices previously but slowly Samsung has started to give this feature in lower-end smartphones too.
Firstly, it appeared on the A-series and now first time ever KNOX security is also given on the Samsung Galaxy M51. Samsung has now started to realise that everyone needs security on their smartphone!
THE BATTERY!
Insane! Insane! That’s the only thing one could say. At, a time 4000mAh battery was considered to be an insane amount of battery in a phone. Then it was overtaken by 5000mAh, then 6000 which was bought by Samsung only! But no one could match that and now, the South-Korean company is ready with another boom. Yes, it is still pretty hard to believe that, how have they bagged in 7000mAh battery in a smartphone.
The phone has got amazing battery optimisation. A normal user can easily use this device easily for than 2.5 days and even more than that. Even a moderate or heavy user can also take it up to 1.5 days to 2 days on a full charge.
Weight Distribution
The biggest point which comes with a great battery is the weight. The point of the massive battery becomes useless if it feels like holding a brick in hand. As we know that feeling because we have power banks which are of 10000mAh and they weigh a lot. If a person can’t hold the phone for hours near his/her ear and converse then the main purpose of the phone neutralises and it becomes useless.
But, I really don’t know how Samsung has made this possible with less weight and more battery. The weight distribution is just purely amazing as the battery is! It simply feels like holding just another smartphone in hand and does not feel heavy at all.
Fast Charger
The ut-most important thing for such a big battery. It comes with a 25W fast charger which would always be ready to charge the device completely within around 2 hours. So, no worries on the phone taking really long to charge.
Processor
The Snapdragon 730G is the latest processor which was out in late July 2020. It is a capable processor to handle the device easily and give a responsive feel and provide, good and immersive experience. Moreover, it is more of a gaming processor so for moderate gamers, the box for great gaming experience is also checked.
Talking about the basic swipes, touches and animations, everything works flawlessly. Adding on another point for the battery, now because of the processor battery optimization is pretty good.
Ports/Buttons
These days many smartphone brands are letting the 3.5mm headphone jack go away from the phone. But not this one the lovely headphone jack is there in place at the bottom with the charging port(USB-Type C) and speaker. On the left side, there is a place for the sim tray. The right side has the volume buttons and the power button with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in it.
Storage
The storage type on the phone is UFS2.1 and RAM type is LPDDR4X which fairly good. It comes with 2 variants 6GB and 8GB RAM followed by 128GB internal storage. Moreover, the phone has got a triple card slot so there are no problems with the storage quantity.
Security
The fingerprint has left the back panel and is provided on the right side which is completely secure, reliable and extremely fast. The face unlock feature is also there which is also fairly good. So, no problems in terms of security.
Multimedia
The photographs a person clicks on this phone would look amazing on the device itself because of the amazing display and colours. Moreover, video streaming experience would be great as well because of the infinity O display and the big screen.
Sensors
It has got all the necessary sensors included Gyroscope, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor Compass/Magnetometer. It also has NFC which is mostly not provided in the M-series.
Features
It supports Wifi Calling, Dual 4G VOLTE and also has got Bluetooth 5.0 for fast connectivity and seamless phone calls. It has also got the FM Radio which might bother plenty! Also, supports Widevine L1 for Netflix HD streaming and Binge watching. Camera to API support checked which makes way for the GCAM in the phone.
