Redmi Note 4, killed for more than 1 year, then came the successor Redmi Note 5 Pro which created a huge ruckus in the smartphone industry! It ruled the market for more than 2-3 months then it got many huge competitors. Then Xiaomi took out the Redmi Note 6 Pro which wasn’t a very big upgrade. But Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is back with the Note 7! Let us see how ahead & grabsomeinfo!

Redmi’s Major Highlights

Processor

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 is found in many other smartphones also but unfortunately, they are underclocked to 1.9 mostly. Here, Redmi gives a surprise and gives us a proper 660 processor with under-clocks.

Moreover, this processor is really fast and good having Powerful Kryo CPU, X12 Modem support with which it becomes easy to catch mobile signals at heights and areas where signals are less catchy. Plus this has high capabilities of the future, that is, AI.

Camera

The Redmi Note Series has been popular mostly for the cameras, from note 1 to 6 the cameras have been highly interesting the pictures clicked are stunning. The Note 7 was again expected to be good in the camera but Redmi killed it with the 48MP camera which is literally insane!

Yes, it is a dual camera setup but the 2nd camera is a simple 5MP camera used for depth sensing. It has got the Samsung GM1 sensor but the Pro version of the phone will be coming with Sony IMAX sensors, which is insane again.

Design

The classic back panel of Xiaomi had literally frustrated everyone having a simple metal back with iPhone style dual camera setup on left and basic colors red, black, gold, etc. But another BOOM by Redmi we’ve got gradient back panels this time having an amazing glossy look and dual color textures giving very premium looks and yes more of new looks to the phone.

Talking of the front panel it has got U notch at the top having only the camera and nothing else. It has a little bit thick chin at the bottom but it is acceptable because the phone is a full package loaded with loads of features.

USB Type-C

Finally, a mid-ranger gets USB Type-C, though Nokia gave it we needed it in Asus, Realme, and Redmi.

Now, it is the beginning of an era I believe, as the Type-C will soon become common because in my frank opinion now most smartphones will be coming with the Type-C port most probably. Moreover, the charging support is 4.0 which is insane.

Extended Warranty

Redmi is providing its users with 18 Months of warranty which is 1.5 years and which is amazing and the coolest thing ever.

source

As, Xiaomi has always been having problems, but usually till then the warranty used to be over and we had to spend a certain amount and disappoint our pocket. Not this time with those extra 6 months covered by Redmi!

Most probably in my opinion Xiaomi is back because it full fills all the basic needs of the audiences. May it be camera or looks, or protection or any other basic thing Xiaomi has definitely took each and everything in count. Only one basic thing is left out and that is, no LED Notification Light and that soon 660 will become an old processor and 675 or 710 will take it,s places!

THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
