Oneplus series has been among the list in giving great specifications to phones over the years. Oneplus mostly releases its devices in the May-June window, but this year it comes to knock the doors early! Yes, it is all set to launch the most-awaited Oneplus 8 series(Oneplus 8 & 8 Pro & maybe 8 Lite Or Oneplus Z) this month(April 2020) itself. Oneplus Is 5G Ready?

Oneplus has officially added this on twitter and their community that, “We are ALL IN 5G”. Meaning all the upcoming smartphones from now on will be on 5G. Including the Oneplus 8 series too. The Oneplus 8 Pro & Oneplus 8 will support 5G. But, the highly rumoured Oneplus 8 Lite(or Oneplus Z) would also be supporting 5G, if and only if, it launches!

Oneplus Charging Story

Oneplus has kept its users waiting a lot for the amazing feature of wireless charging. Since the Oneplus 6, the users have been expecting to get wireless charging on the device. But they were left disappointed both the times(Oneplus 6&7). Moreover, the Oneplus 7T Pro was highly expected to support the feature but no came out again.

Oneplus officials said that the feature is yet to become a trend. This time Oneplus 8 series without disappointing supports a massive 30W wireless charging.

Oneplus Giving New Colours?

New colours from Oneplus might not sound too new but yes they are new. They are giving three new colours which include Blue, Black, Green. They don’t sound new in any sense but they are different in types of giving gradient looks. A similar but slightly different story from the side of Oneplus 8 as it gives Glow, Black & Green. Now, that’s something new!

Oneplus 8 & 8 Pro Release Date 

Oneplus has postponed the release dates of the device thrice. Due, to the pandemic breakdown all over the world. The phone was all set to be launched it the beginning of March, then mid-March and then starting of April. Since the Chinese markets are open now, the phone can launch there anytime soon. No official dates for the global launch. India’s release date is 14 April 2020. Currently, India is under lockdown which is expected to end on April 14 but if it extends (as the pandemic is yet to come into control). If the lockdown goes ahead then the release date is also expected to move ahead.

The expected prices are: Oneplus 8 (40,000 – 45,000INR) & Oneplus 8 Pro (50,000-55,000INR)
