New iPhone or Old?
So, what’s new in there to expect from the iPhone SE 2 2020? It is a combination of the iPhone 11 and iPhone 8. It is a 95 per cent copy of the iPhone 8. Reminding of the old small factor design, with thick bezels at the top and bottom. But, because of that(5 per cent of the iPhone 11) only it becomes a really powerful phone. It should give you a good 2-3 years. The A-13 Bionic chip is the fastest to date from Apple and is capable of handling a lot and will provide its user best performance.
It also includes the IP 67 rating which helps you protect your phone from splashes, sloshes, sprinkles, sprays, splatters, and spills. Apple claims that iPhone SE is water-resistant to 1 meter for 30 minutes. It’s not afraid of a little coffee, tea, or soda either & dust.
Apple does not disappoint much this time, but the many might not like the thick bezels being back on the iPhone. Also, coming up with a single camera it does not prove to be very good, though providing the bokeh effect and wide-angle photography. iPhone fails to give a fast charger inside the box, though it supports 18W fast charging, you need to purchase it eternally.
Compact Factor Back on the iPhone?
The best part coming up with the newbie is it retrieve the old small and compact device style. Due to continuous big screen devices getting launched these days. The new iPhone SE 2 reminds you of the great older days’ small form factor which used to be pretty good.
A great step taken by Apple here is the compact size. These days many people miss compact sized devices, but unfortunately, they just don’t get them. As every company is preferring to launch a phone with more than 6 inches these days.
Mid-Range SE 2 2020?
Well, this is the first-ever time where we are getting a mid-range Apple iPhone! Yes, it is kind of shocking, Apple launching phone starting from just 399$ for the 64GB variant which goes up to 549$ for 256GB. Though it looks like the iPhone 8, as discussed above it is a lot more than that with the A13 Bionic chip.

iPhone SE 2 2020 Really Good for India?
This point comes on as an add-on which says that the SE 2 might be a mid-ranger for everyone but not India yet! Due to the lacking of iPhone assembling centres in India, the iPhone cost a lot more than it is for others. This time also there is no less difference with the iPhone SE 2 2020. As it is going to cost you a 42,000 INR, which is completely 12,000 INR more than the actual cost. It can be sorted out with 2 points:
- If a person needs that Apple logo and its fame in a less amount then they can go ahead with the iPhone SE 2, which makes sense hor him/her.
- If you are looking for quality and a good iPhone at a little less price then, in my frank opinion you can go with the iPhone XR which is no less in terms of performance.
Ultimately, it is better to go with the iPhone XR over the iPhone SE 2, though it will cost you a 10,000 INR more. The XR is worth the price at this moment and the iPhone SE 2 isn’t.
