Tell Yourself to Remember – If a person makes a decision to remember his/her dreams. Then more or less the chances of remembering the dreams are higher. So, before you go to sleep, remind yourself that you want to remember your dream. If you want to!
Wakeup with No Alert Clock – You’re more likely to consider your dreams if you wake up naturally than using an alert. The human mind is targeted on turning off the sound, perhaps maybe not in your dream, once the alarm goes away.
Dream Playback – If a person thinks about the dream right after waking, it could be easier to remember it later.
Why is it that We Remember Dreams Some Times, but not Always?
We’ve got just two sleep cycles:
- Non-REM sleep, that happens earlier in the Evening
- REM sleep and this happens in the part of early Day and the night
“If you wake up during REM sleep, then you could well be more likely to consider your dream’s content,” says Dr Butler. “Individuals also tend to consider dreams that have significantly more negative content or negative emotions versus pleasant or harmless content”.
