Asus has launched a new budget category king and wants to take over the whole market. The mid-range segment has become extremely crowded just because of too many phones in almost the same price-range. As it is becoming really tough to come out in this segment, Asus did a spectacular job. The new Max Pro M2 is just purely wonderful. It very easily beats Xiaomi and Realme in many aspects. Let us see the full features and every detail about the Asus’s new Zenfone Max Pro M2.

More Than Expected

The author can never express feelings while writing, in my frank opinion, this is the best device from Asus. They have given each and everything in this device that a user demands!

Front Panel

Starting with the front panel, as you know from the specs it has 6.26 inches of screen with a notch. Now, though it has a notch, the phone has got multi-colored LED notification light with a front flash. Then the colors of the phone are very punchy and the brightness level is extremely unbeatable.

The previous M1 had a battery of 5000mAh then same goes with the M2 also but this time the weight is highly controlled, it is only 175gm which is highly disastrous, that is too less!

Back Panel

The backside is not made of glass, so no worries of breaking the back. The back panel is kind of plastic and made of polycarbonate but looks and feels very premium. That is just because of the animated design at the back which is also scratch resistant. The plastic material also makes the phone light, and also has that amazing glossy look.

Screen Protection

The predecessor was protection less. Yes, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 had no Gorilla Glass Protection. That decision of Asus was bad, and they took it seriously and yes, this time they have provided the best of the best “Corning Gorilla Glass 6”.

This is completely unacceptable but Asus did it. It gave this protection in a mid-range smartphone which is expected in a flagship.

Processor

Qualcomm Snapdragon 660, this is a higher mid-range processor, but it is clocked to 1.95GHz, which means Asus has underclocked it to make it durable at this price range. But still, it gives a spectacular performance.

The leading mid-range processor Snapdragon 636 can compete with this processor as the 660 processor at 1.95GHz is only 20 percent faster. There is a compromise but still, it does not matter much until and unless the performance is not affected.

Camera

The predecessor was a little downgraded just because of the camera. It was a major drawback because it did not give a really good output.  But as said earlier this is the successor and has come with everything, the camera is spectacularly awesome, having EIS(Electronic Image Stabilisation) & also having 4K video recording support. Moreover, Asus says that a new update would be coming soon that would be especially focusing on camera and camera quality would be improved further. This is insane!

Some Drawbacks

No Phone Is Made Perfect, this phone also has some minus points.

1. No USB – Type C.
2. No Slow-Motion Video Recording Feature.
3. No Direct Video Calling Support.
4. No Portrait Mode In Front Camera.

Cost Of The Beauty

3GB RAM & 32 GB ROM >>>—->>> INR 12,999/-

4GB RAM & 64 GB ROM >>>—->>> INR 14,999/-

6GB RAM & 64 GB ROM >>>—->>> INR 16,999/-

At the end, the conclusion is that this phone is thee best no phone provides such features in this price-range. The only suggestion is to wait for the updates that would be resolving the above major drawbacks, actually makin git a perfect phone.

THAT’S ALL FOLKS!
